सभी सम्पत्तियों को वापस लेगी मंदिर समिति

श्रीनगर: बदरीनाथ केदारनाथ मंदिर समिति प्रदेश व प्रदेश के बाहर अपनी सभी सपत्तियों को वापस लेने के लिए प्रयासरत है। इस कार्य में समिति को कई स्थानों पर अपनी जगहों पर दोबारा कब्जा लेने में सफलता भी मिली है। समिति ने अपना विश्वविद्यालय, अस्पताल व लोक संस्कृति संस्थान खोलने के लिए शासन को प्रस्ताव भेज दिया है।

जिला बार एसोसिएशन का चुनाव 15 को

अल्मोड़ा: जिला बार एसोसिएशन की नई कार्यकारिणी के लिए चुनाव 15 जुलाई को होगा। यह निर्णय चुनाव समिति की यहां हुई बैठक में लिया गया। बैठक में सर्वसम्मति से निर्णय लिया गया कि 11 जुलाई को मतदाता सूची का प्रकाशन किया जाएगा। 12 जुलाई को पूर्वाह्न 11 बजे से 3 बजे तक उम्मीदवार नामांकन कर सकेंगे।

कैपिटेशन फीस पर पाबंदी

राज्य सरकार ने लंबी मशक्कत के बाद आखिरकार अंग्रेजी माध्यम प्राइवेट स्कूलों पर शिकंजा कस कर छात्र-छात्राओं और अभिभावकों को राहत दी है। स्कूलों को डोनेशन या कैपिटेशन फीस लेने या बच्चों और अभिभावकों का स्क्रीनिंग टेस्ट लेने पर बतौर जुर्माना भारी-भरकम राशि भरनी पड़ेगी। यही नहीं अब कक्षा एक से आठवीं तक बच्चों को फेल होने या कम अंकों के आधार पर स्कूल से बाहर का रास्ता नहीं दिखाया जा सकेगा। राज्य में शिक्षा का अधिकार (आरटीई) के तहत उक्त प्रावधानों के संबंध में शुक्रवार को शासनादेश जारी किया गया। आदेश जारी होने के बाद अब प्राइवेट स्कूल फीस वसूली से लेकर विभिन्न स्तरों पर मनमानी नहीं कर सकेंगे। आरटीई के केंद्रीय एक्ट में इस बाबत शामिल प्रावधान लागू किए गए हैं

नए बीएड कालेजों पर ब्रेक

सूबे में निजी बीएड कालेज खोलने की चाह को जोर का झटका लगने जा रहा है। नए कालेजों के मामले में दरियादिली का आलम यह रहा कि सूबे में बीएड की सीटों की संख्या 10500 का आंकड़ा पार गई है। हर साल हजारों बीएड डिग्रीधारकों की फौज खड़ी होने के बावजूद रोजगार की स्थिति बेहद नाजुक है। भर्ती का सिलसिला लगातार चलने के बावजूद महज 2500 नई नौकरी ही मौजूद हैं। ऐसे में सरकार ने अगले शैक्षिक सत्र में नए बीएड कालेजों को अनुमति नहीं देने का फैसला सिद्धांत रूप में लिया है। इस पर अंतिम मुहर कैबिनेट लगाएगी।

मंहगाई के खिलाफ रैली

मंहगाई के खिलाफ रैली कर भाजपा ने प्रदेश में विधानसभा चुनाव का बिगुल फूंक दिया लेकिन पार्टी की पहली चुनावी रैली में पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री भुवन चंद खंडूड़ी व भगत सिंह कोश्यारी शामिल नहीं हुए। खंडूड़ी व कोश्यारी की गैरमौजूदगी की भगवा खेमे में चर्चा रही। हालांकि, चुनाव प्रभारी राजनाथ सिंह ने दोनों के कार्यकाल की तारीफ की। ऋषिकुल मैदान में मंहगाई व भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ भाजपा की रैली को बड़े जोर-शोर से प्रचारित किया गया था। इसे राज्य में विधानसभा चुनाव का आगाज रैली बताते हुए प्रदेश के सभी बड़े नेताओं के रैली में जुटने की बात कही गई।करीब साढ़े तीन बजे पूर्व राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष व प्रदेश चुनाव प्रभारी राजनाथ सिंह, मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक मंच पर पहुंचे। दो पूर्व मुख्यमंत्रियों के रैली में न आने से भगवा खेमे में चर्चाओं का दौर शुरू हो गया। हालांकि, प्रदेश चुनाव प्रभारी राजनाथ सिंह ने अपने संबोधन के अंत में खंडूड़ी व कोश्यारी के मुख्यमंत्रित्व काल का जिक्र कर चर्चाओं पर विराम लगाने का प्रयास किया। उन्होंने कहा कि भुवन चंद खंडूड़ी व उनसे पहले भगत सिंह कोश्यारी ने मुख्यमंत्री रहते बेहतरीन कार्य किया।

बैंक चालान से जमा होगी फीस

देहरादून, सूबे में पालीटेक्निक की 10519 डिप्लोमा सीटों के लिए ऑनलाइन काउंसिलिंग 14 जुलाई से शुरू होगी। सरकार ने यह भी तय किया कि काउंसिलिंग की 600 रुपये फीस भारतीय स्टेट बैंक की शाखाओं में चालान के जरिए जमा की जाएगी।सूबे के 63 पालीटेक्निकों में डिप्लोमा सीटों में दाखिले को ऑनलाइन काउंसिलिंग का पहला चरण 14 से 20 जुलाई तक चलेगा।

चुनावी शंखनाद की तैयारी

तीर्थनगरी हरिद्वार में प्रदेश भाजपा गंगा किनारे एकजुटता के तराने गाते दिखाई देगी। हालांकि मौका तो केंद्र सरकार के खिलाफ महंगाई के मुद्दे पर प्रत्येक लोकसभा क्षेत्र में होने वाली रैली का है, लेकिन इसी बहाने भाजपा उत्तराखंड में चुनावी शंखनाद की तैयारी में भी है, और वह भी पूरी एकजुटता के साथ। रैली में मुख्यमंत्री, सभी पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री, प्रदेश अध्यक्ष व पूर्व अध्यक्षों समेत खासा बड़ा जमावड़ा लगाया जा रहा है। राजनाथ सिंह इस कार्यक्रम के जरिए प्रदेश चुनाव प्रभारी की अपनी नई जिम्मेदारी का आगाज भी करेंगे।
अरसे से अंदरूनी झंझावातों से जूझ रही भाजपा के लिए हरिद्वार रैली नई शुरुआत साबित हो सकती है। कहने को तो यह आयोजन पार्टी के उस राष्ट्रव्यापी अभियान का हिस्सा है, जिसके तहत प्रत्येक लोकसभा क्षेत्र में महंगाई के खिलाफ केंद्र की घेराबंदी की जा रही है, लेकिन मौजूदा सियासी परिदृश्य में उत्तराखंड में इसके कई अन्य निहितार्थ भी हैं। खासकर इसलिए भी, क्योंकि यह आयोजन पूर्व राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष राजनाथ सिंह के प्रदेश चुनाव प्रभारी की जिम्मेदारी संभालने के तुरंत बाद हो रहा है और इसमें वह शिरकत भी कर रहे हैं।

चमोली,,,,,नहीं मिला खाद्यान्न का एडवांस कोटा

गोपेश्वर,  : पहाड़ों में बारिश के चलते सरकार ने हाई अलर्ट घोषित किया है, लेकिन बारिश से होने वाली आपदा में खाद्यान्न की कमी न हो, इससे निपटने के लिए अभी तक जिले को एडवांस कोटा आवंटित नहीं किया है। प्रतिवर्ष यह कोटा जून माह में ही आवंटित हो जाता है। जुलाई, अगस्त व सितम्बर में बारिश के चलते पहाड़ों में मोटर मार्गो का अवरुद्ध होना आम बात है। यही नहीं मार्ग अवरूद्ध होने के चलते कई बार जिला खाद्यान्न संकट से जूझ चुका है। यहां तक कि गत वर्ष तो हेलीकॉप्टर से राशन पहुंचाया गया था, लेकिन पिछले वर्षो में आई आपदा से शासन प्रशासन ने सबक नहीं लिया है। चमोली जिले में वर्षाकाल के माह में एडवांस कोटे के रूप में खाद्यान्न आवंटित होता आया है। यह खाद्यान्न जिले के हर विकासखंड के महत्वपूर्ण स्थानों पर 16 खाद्यान्न गोदामों में जमा रखा जाता था। इससे आपदा से पूर्व खाद्यान्न गोदामों में पर्याप्त भंडारण होने के चलते जनता को खाद्यान्न संकट से निजात मिलती थी। यही नहीं यात्रा सीजन के दौरान यात्रियों को भी खाद्यान्न संकट का सामना नहीं करना पड़ता था, लेकिन इस वर्ष जुलाई माह में भी खाद्यान्न का तीन माह का एडवांस कोटा चमोली को आवंटित नहीं हुआ है

इंजीनियरों को बनाया बंधक

दौला बाजन सिनार मोटर मार्ग पर दो साल बीत जाने के बाद भी लगभग सातकरोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनने वाले मोटर मार्ग के निर्माण में हो रही,,अनियमितताओं से आजिज आये सैकडों ग्रामीणों ने आज निर्माण खंड व कार्यदायी संस्था के दो इंजीनियरों को घंटो बंधक बनाएं रखा। ग्रामीणों ने चेतावनी दी है कि अगर मोटर मार्ग का निर्माण तय सीमा में पूरा नही किया गया तो वे उग्र आन्दोलन को बाध्य होंगे। एशियन डेवलपमेंट बैंक के माध्यम से दौला बाजन सिनार मोटर मार्ग का निर्माण का कार्य असोम की नियामी कम्पनी को दिया गया था। अपै्रल 2010 में इस मार्ग का निर्माण कार्य शुरू होकर अगस्त 2011 में पूरा हो जाना था लेकिन इस मार्ग के एक से सात किलोमीटर तक के मार्ग पर अभी तक कार्यदायी संस्था द्वारा कोई भी कार्य शुरू नही कराया है। ग्रामीणों ने आरोप लगाया है कि कार्यदायी संस्था को कार्य देने से पहले ग्रामीण इस कच्चे मार्ग पर अपने वाहनों से आवाजाही कर लेते थे। लेकिन कार्यदायी संस्था ने इस मार्ग पर जेसीबी चलाकर इस मार्ग को और ऊबड़-खाबड़ कर दिया है और कार्य पूरी होने की तिथि का समय नजदीक होने के बाद भी इसमें कोई कार्य शुरू नही कराया है।

पुल जटवाड़ा में चार शव मिले,सनसनी

घटना की सूचना पाकर मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने भीड़ को हटाकर गोताखोरों की मदद से शवों को बाहर निकाला। मृतकों के कपड़ों की जमा-तलाशी में कोई भी ऐसी चीज नहीं मिली जिससे उनकी शिनाख्त की जा सके। पुलिस ने आसपास के लोगों से भी उनकी जानकारी लेने का प्रयास किया लेकिन सफलता नहीं मिली। पुलिस ने शवों को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है।

विधायक के भाई और प्रधानपति के खिलाफ रिपोर्ट

ब्लाक बीडीसी की बैठक में हुए हंगामे के बाद तीन पक्षों की ओर से आई तहरीर के आधार पर पुलिस ने बुधवार देर रात मुकदमे दर्ज कर लिए हैं। इसमें दो मामले दलित उत्पीड़न के दर्ज हुए हैं। उनकी जांच सीओ मंगलौर करेंगे, जबकि तीसरे मामले की जांच भगवानपुर थाना पुलिस ही करेगी। बुधवार को भगवानपुर ब्लाक की बीडीसी की बैठक में प्रधानपति उस्मान के खुद को सांसद प्रतिनिधि बताकर बैठक में शामिल होने पर हंगामा और मारपीट हो गई थी। यह सब कुछ प्रमुख सचिव गृह राजीव गुप्ता की मौजूदगी में होने से पुलिस घटना के बाद से ही खासे दबाव में थी। इस मामले में बुधवार को ही तीन पक्षों की ओर से थाने में तहरीर दी गई थी। आला अफसरों से वार्तालाप करने के बाद भगवानपुर थानाध्यक्ष जवाहर लाल ने सभी मामले देर रात दर्ज करा दिए। इसमें भगवानपुर बसपा विधायक सुरेंद्र राकेश की ओर से शाहपुर निवासी उस्मान के अलावा महमूद, अय्यूब व रिजवान आदि बीस लोगों के खिलाफ जान से मारने के प्रयास करने, जाति सूचक शब्द कहने का आरोप लगाते हुए मुकदमा दर्ज कराया है। वहीं शाहपुर की प्रधान शहजादी पत्‍‌नी उस्मान ने विधायक सुरेंद्र राकेश के भाई जिला पंचायत सदस्य सुबोध राकेश, जिला पंचायत सदस्य सिया देवी के पति तीरथपाल व मौहम्मद अफजाल पर गाली गलौच व मारपीट करने का आरोप लगाते हुए मुकदमा दर्ज कराया है। एक मामला ज्येष्ठ ब्लाक प्रमुख रचना देवी ने भी पूर्व मंडी के चेयरमैन देवेंद्र अग्रवाल के पुत्र रचित अग्रवाल, सुशील चौधरी व मौहम्मद इस्लाम पर जाति सूचक शब्द एवं मारपीट का मामला दर्ज कराया है।

चारधाम व अमरनाथ यात्रा मार्ग पर मोबाइल सुविधा

देहरादून: भारत संचार निगम लिमिटेड (बीएसएनएल) ने उत्तराखंड में चारधाम (बदरीनाथ, केदारनाथ, यमुनोत्री व गंगोत्री) मार्ग और जम्मू-कश्मीर में अमरनाथ यात्रा मार्ग पर मोबाइल कवरेज सुविधा सुचारू कर दी है। बीएसएनएल की मानें तो दोनों राज्यों में यात्रा के लिए बाहर से आने वाले समस्त बीएसएनएल उपभोक्ता रोमिंग पर मोबाइल कनेक्टिविटी का आनंद ले सकते हैं।

शहरी विकास मंत्री का पुतला फूंका

हरिद्वार,  विकास कार्य न होने से नाराज कांग्रेसियों ने शहरी विकास मंत्री मदन कौशिक का पुतला फूंका। कांग्रेसियों ने आरोप लगाया कि विकास कार्यो के लिए आ रही धनराशि को डकारा जा रहा है। उन्होंने सड़कों पर हो रहे गहरे गढ्डों को शीघ्र भरे एवं स्ट्रीट लाइट सही कराए जाने की मांग की।

लक्सर और रूडकी के आस पास बाढ़ से भारी तबाही हुई

पिछले साल आई आपदा के दोरान लक्सर और रूडकी के आस पास बाढ़ से भारी तबाही हुई थी,  राज्य  में मानसून दस्तक दे चूका है लेकिन अभी  तक इस इलाके में पानी के निकासी को लेकर कोई पुख्ता बंदोबस्त नहीं कए गई है, साफ़ है अगर इस बार भी पिछले साल जैसे ही हालत बनते है तो लोगों को फिर से बाढ़  के पानी में डूबना होगा, 

रेलवे गटक पर ट्रेन की आवाजाही

लक्सर- बहादरपुर रेलवे गटक पर ट्रेन की आवाजाही ज्यादा होने से यात्रियों को काफी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है, ये फाटक हर १५ मिनट बाद बंद हो जाती है जिससे यहाँ से गुजरने वालें लोगो को काफी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ता है, दरअसल ये फाटक हरिद्वार की तरफ जाने वाली रेलवे लाइन पर है, पिछले कुछ रोज में इस फाटक पर ट्रेनों के संख्या काफी बढ़ गई है, इसलिए फाटक हर १५ मिनट बाद बंद हो जाती है, लोगो ने मांग के है के इस फाटक पर ओवर ब्रिज बनना चाहिए 

मलबा आने से कालसी चकराता मार्ग बंद

जौनसार बावर की लाइफ लाइन कालसी-साहिया-चकराता मोटर मार्ग जजरेड पुल व असनाड़ी के पास मलबा आने से अपराह्न 4 बजे से साढ़े 6 बजे बंद रहा। करीब आधा घंटे के बाद मार्ग एक बार फिर बंद हो गया। ग्रामीणों ने कार्यदायी संस्था से साइड पर ही जेसीबी की व्यवस्था कराने की मांग की है। रविवार अपराह्न करीब 4 बजे पहाड़ दरकने से गिरे मलबे ने जजरेड पुल व असनाड़ी के पास कालसी-चकराता मोटर मार्ग को अवरुद्ध कर दिया। यातायात ठप होने से दोनों ओर वाहनों की लंबी लाइनें लग गई। विकासनगर व अन्य स्थानों से रोजाना चकराता आदि स्थानों पर नौकरी करने वाले लोग जाम में फंसे रहे।

Passage :
A rat’s thick, furry body brushed his cheek, its whiskered nose sniffing at his mouth. Quivering with revulsion, Kunta snapped his teeth together desperately and the rat ran away. In rage, Kunta snatched and kicked against the shackles that bound his wrists and ankles. Instantly, angry exclamations and jerking came back from whomever he was shackled to. The shock and pain adding to his fury, Kunta lunged upward, his head bumping hard against wood-right on the spot where he had been clubbed by the ‘toubol’ back in the woods.
Gasping the snarling, he and the unseen man next to him battered their iron cuffs at each other until both slumped back in exhaustion. Kunta felt himself starting to vomit again, and he tried to force it back, hut couldn’t. His already emptied belly squeezed up a thin, sour fluid that drained from the side of his mouth as he lay wishing that he might die.
He told himself that he mustn’t lose control again if he wanted to save his strength and his sanity. After a while, when he felt he could move again, he very slowly and carefully explored his shackled right wrist and ankle with his left hand. They were bleeding. He pulled lightly on the the left ankle and wrist of the man he had fought with. On Kunta’s left, chained to him by the ankles, lay some other man, someone who kept up a steady moaning and they were all so close that their shoulders, arms, and legs touched if any of them moved even a little.
